Observing Post-Traumatic Growth during June’s PTSD awareness month is not just a celebration of resilience and strength in the face of adversity. It is a recognition of the profound insights that can emerge from our darkest moments.

It is a testament to the power of human spirit and the human capacity for transformation and growth.

What is Post-Traumatic Growth?

Post-traumatic growth is the positive change and personal growth that can happen after a traumatic event. Instead of being stuck in a state of trauma, individuals can use their experiences to:

  • Gain new insights and develop new coping strategies

  • Develop stronger relationships and personal strength

  • Find a deeper sense of meaning and purpose in our lives

Contribute to the Post-Traumatic Growth Movement

Is growth after trauma a phenomenon bestowed upon a lucky minority? Or is redemption available for us all? It seems it may be. But the missing piece is belief that it is possible.
