Dr. Ronald Warner is a psychologist, Ryerson Professor Emeritus, and the Founder and Director of the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy Certificate Program at the University of Toronto which is now in its 21st year. The author of Solution-Focused Interviewing.

Dr. Warner is also the Chief Examiner for the Canadian Council of Professional Certification for Solution-Focused Therapists, Practitioners, and Coaches. Dr. Warner worked for 4 years at the Canadian Forces Base Kingston, where he started the first Solution-Focused Post-traumatic Growth approach to PTSD.

His current practice is at the Kingston Institute for Psychotherapy and Neurofeedback where he treats traumatized soldiers, veterans, and front-line responders. His work on Post-Traumatic Growth resulted in three invitations to present to the Canadian Military and Veterans Health Research Forum. He was also was a nominee for the Insoo Kim Berg Lifetime Achievement Award offered by the Canadian Association of solution focussed brief therapy.
